You will find a lot of useful links to give you information and advice about subjects and options available across the town. For example, if you want to see the range of Post 16 subjects that we offer you can look at the courses information section.
Looking through the courses available is a good idea both for those students who are in Years 12 and 13 and also for younger students wanting to think about progression and courses when they reach the age of 16.
If you are interested in the range of courses available at Key Stage 4 then you will need to consult with the staff at your own school. Each school organises their courses at Key Stage 4 a little differently to make sure that they best suit their own students and the resources that they have available. This means that what is available for students to choose from each year varies from one centre to another. Look at your school calendar for details of key dates and deadlines and do talk to your teachers for help and advice.
Each school has a Courses Evening for Year 9 students in the Spring Term when the range of options is explained and students make their choices. Meanwhile, in school at about the same time of year you will find that students will be given lots of advice and guidance to help them make the right choice for their years 10 and 11.
