Hi, welcome to the next phase of your learning.

We hope that your GCSE results are at least as good as you expected and that you have had a really good day celebrating your success with friends and family. Now, however, you need to prepare to enter the brave new Post 16 world of Advanced Levels, BTEC First & National Certificates and Diplomas, etc.

Gary Player, winner of numerous international tournaments was once asked how much luck had contributed to his success at golf. His reply is a useful message for you as you approach learning, for he said “I find that the more I practise, the luckier I get!”

Experience tells us that the better you prepare and the greater the effort you put into your learning, the more successful you will become.

The contents should prove to be useful as part of your preparations – enjoy the rest of your summer break and ensure you are fully refreshed for the new challenges of the forthcoming Autumn Term.
